Radmusic Studio Notes

I’ve been spending a bit of time recording the O’Donnell Family
Bluegrass Band, with their album due for completion in June, hopefully
in time for the Redlands Bluegrass Festival. We did a few band tracks
at Mark McDuff’s studio and brought them back here for overdubs. The
rest we have tracked here at Radmusic. Some great classic bluegrass
tracks on this one. I’m hoping to get Hugh Curtis over next week to
play some fiddle and mandolin on this one.

I have pretty much finished band tracks for Lance Friend’s album, with
some over dubs and a couple of acoustic tracks to go. Then mixing will
start in earnest.

I have also done some overdubs (harmonica) for Tenielle Muslin’s
project. Tenielle won the Telstra Road to Tamworth. Other harmonica
overdubs also for Graham Rodger’s forthcoming album, which I got to
play guitar on and which Michael Fix is producing in his Parklands
Studios.

I am also scheduled in to write for Rose Carleo’s forthcoming album
later this month, which I’m very much looking forward to.
