Hi to all and hoping you are all off to a great start in 2017.

After a break over the festive season I spent much of January preparing and performing at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. The festival culminates in the Country Music Association of Australia’s Golden Guitar Awards and it was once again such a privilege to perform with so many gifted performers and musicians. Special thanks to the brilliant Golden Guitars House Band of Bill Risby, Mitch Farmer, Glen Hannah, Stuart French, Camille Te Nahu, Michel Rose and James Gillard for such beautiful playing; you make my job easy!

I am still working on that elusive second album. Who knows, maybe it will happen this year. I did record an album with The Faceless Men band late last year and we launched it in Tamworth in January. As well as featuring The Faceless Men, the album includes performances by many famous (and generous) artists and the profits are being donated to the Support Act charity.

I’ll be performing at Fridays Riverside in Brisbane on the first Sunday of March, April and May with The Radford Jaymes Band and I’m also looking forward to joining the Mountains to Mulga tour in May with Beccy Cole and Libby O’Donovan. I’m off on Cruisin’ Country again in October at the helm of the Brendan Radford Cruisin Country Orchestra. For more details of these and the other gigs I have on for the rest of 2017, check out the gig page.

As many of you would know, I have spent many years playing guitar both in my own bands and with a number of Australia’s leading artists both on their recordings and live gigs. More information on this is available in my Bio.

My debut album Snow, released in 2009 was a top 5 nominee in the 2011 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards and also received three nominations in the Southern Stars Independent Country Music Awards in 2010; Album of the Year, Heritage Song and Male Vocal.

Go to the forum page if you’d like to read a bit more about ‘Snow’.

All the best and I look forward to catching up with you in the near future.
