G’day everyone

Hoping all is well in your world wherever that may be and that 2026 is happy and prosperous.

I’m still pinching myself that I was awarded the Golden Guitar for Traditional Country Album of the Year for my album ‘Start All Over Again‘ at this year’s Country Music Association of Australia (CMAA) awards. I also got to perform the title track live at the awards, which was quite a treat. Check out my performance at around 1:19 and award presentation at 1:43 on the link.

Thanks to all of you who’ve had a listen to Start All Over Again, left a comment, added to your playlists and shared. If you’re a CD buyer/listener head over to the Merchandise page to grab a hard copy!

I’ve also had really good chart success with my mate Waddo with our single ‘Something of a Privilege‘, a song we recorded as a gift for John Williamson on his 80th Birthday. We got to perform the song together at the Tamworth Country Music Festival Opening Concert in January, and John has even added it to his music playlist for after his shows this year. Amazing stuff!

My last solo single release to radio ‘Modern Day Troubadour‘ reached the top ten on Australian Country Music radio charts and has now been in the top 40 for some months. My October 2025 released collaboration with long-time mate the amazingly talented Brad Butcher also continues to receive good airplay on radio and streaming services. Check out our single ‘Picture Show‘.

I still find it hard to believe and am so grateful for my very first Golden Guitar – Instrumental of the Year at the 2025 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards for The Red Centre, an evocative instrumental collaboration with my good mate Lindsay Waddington. Link above and also available where you usually listen to your music. You might also like to check out the video for The Red Centre.

My previous singles They Don’t Flick The Finger In The Outback Anymore, Start All Over Again and ‘EJ’ have all charted really well. In fact, all singles from the album have made top ten in the Australian Country Radio charts. So again thanks to you all for your support.

There is also a video for EJ on my youtube channel. More videos coming soon.

And….there’s merch!! CDs,T-Shirts, Coolers, Keep Cups and stickers are all available on the Merchandise page.

Keep an eye out for more new music, videos and upcoming gigs. And please like, share, subscribe and leave a comment on any of my socials! All your sharing and feedback is super helpful in building my audience.

I have to say the start to 2026 has been nothing short of incredible and I’m looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring. I’ll certainly be out there performing and I wish you safe travels and look forward to catching up with you soon.
